Inspiration
Staying home is the most effective solution to slow down the pandemic yet it also makes people feel lonely. We want to make Staying home fun and rewarding. We want to create as many StayHome Heroes as possible.
What it does
We ask users to submit a Proof of Stay ( photo of staying home) each day so we can reward the user with our TriipMiles token. Users can use these TriipMiles token to pay for accommodations, tours, and experiences in 229 countries later.
The more a user stays, the more he/she earn to travel later.
How I built it
We have built this platform on a strong and fast blockchain infrastructure. The app has been tested with more than 160,000 users in 131 countries.
Challenges I ran into
It is hard to spread the message to more users across the world as we don't have a budget for marketing.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Our app on iOS and Android have been welcome rated by our users: 4.7/5.
What I learned
A simple idea can spread to 131 countries. Hope can spread faster than a pandemic.
